Have you experienced an unstable behaviour whenever you try to personalize the desktop (wallpaper, appereance, etc.)? I do so. Everytime I try to change something related to the desktop the board stops working, and sometimes it resets itself.

Any ideas?

Hello,
I downloaded teh ubuntu-mate 15.10 and installed it on a sd-card.
My raspberry Pi2 is booting, but i do not get a screen on my hdmi display. (Never had this with othet os-ses before.)
However using putty, it seems to connect to ubuntu-mate; i receive a login prompt.
But i do not know what the default root password is, nor do i know if there is an other user installed on the distro.

Any sugestions?
Kind regards, Bert

Hello Bert Tammer,

As mention in https://ubuntu-mate.community/t/ubuntu-mate-15-04-for-raspberry-pi-2/517, There are no predefined user accounts.

May be you can try using other SD Card.
